Regular Care and Cleaning:
- Use clean water with a couple of drops of dish soap, or an all natural cleaning product (make sure there are no harsh chemicals, especially ammonia)
- Wipe down your cabinets using the water and a clean cloth (do NOT use anything abrasive, this will ruin the finish)
- Follow with a dry soft clean towel before the water has had time to dry thus providing you with a streak/grease free clean cabinet
- For polishing your cabinets we recommend Murphy’s oil soft wipes or a similar product
Try to Avoid…
- Excessive Moisture – Wipe any spills up immediately, avoid draping wet towels over doors, watch areas there may be excessive water or steam i.e. Sinks, Dishwashers or coffee pots
- Temperature and Humidity Extremes – Try to maintain a regular indoor temperature year round
Remember wood is a natural, living, breathing product. The finish on your cabinetry helps protect the wood from the environment but it still needs your help to keep it clean and moisturized. Follow a proper maintenance program and this will ensure your cabinets have a long life!
